Okay, I admit that I haven't finished "The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge". I'm sorry, but I just have this inability to make Jack dance well enough, long enough to get through that last boss fight! I know, I suck! So this is my disclaimer; I don't know how the game ends or if we ever see the heads of the other holidays.
OKAY! So I noticed while playing that they keep talking about the *Kings* of the other holidays. There's definitely an implication that they're all male. Couldn't we just have had *ONE* girl? And hey, why not have a crossover with another Burton property? So here we have a much more "lively" Emily from "The Corpse Bride", as the King... er.. Queen of Valentine's Day. Why? Well I just think she'd be great at the job. ^^ I mean, she's a born- er.. dead... er.. *sigh* She's just very romantic-minded.
I imagine Valentine's Land as very fluffy and ornate, lots of fountains and columns and clouds. In one sketch, she had a heart-collared (and hemmed) robe. Well, she's down-graded to the frilly-veiled heart-shaped hat here since you couldn't see her dress with the robe on. XD
I also want to thank =jenny-jen and =toonboy92484 for suggestions on her coloring and outfit, and acknowledge some stylistic inspiration from *GoblinQueeen Thanks, guys!
I haven’t played the game so I have no idea what you’re talking about, but I got a good idea. Anywho, you must have put a lot of time into this pic. It’s just lovely. I don’t know why, but I love that hat!
good job
